Ice Cream Sandwich is a really, really, nice update for Android. Love or hate the looks of it, Google has really pushed forward with the user interface on the platform.
Let’s hit on the 3rd party apps. Android is no where close at all, to having the quality 3rd party apps that iOS has.
This is a great overview of the device and lines up with my opinions after playing with the Galaxy Nexus for only a few minutes.
I still contend this phone is like a Windows 7 ultrabook being compared to a MacBook air.
In this video I review the Hard Rubber case by skech for the iPhone 4/4S. This is another excelent product by Skech utilizing superior materials and construction. I really think anyone that is looking for a simple case for their iPhone this Christmas season should give this case a good look. Buy yourself one on Amazon in one of the many available colors.
In this video I unbox and review the Skech porter case for the iPad 2. This case has quickly become my favorite case for the iPad and has replaced my Smartcover/Booq sleeve combo that I have been using since the iPad 2s release.
This case is set apart by its great construction, high quality materials, and a perfect fit. The materials used in this case really make it something special. The faux leather used in this case rivals real leather. It has a very dull finish and is stiffer than most fake leather used on cases in this price range. Get your own Skech Porter on Amazon in a variety of colors.
In this video I take a look at the Aranez K Leather Case for the iPad 2. This is a portfolio style leather case with a built in flap to allow for a better angle when typing. This case also includes the obligatory slots for business cards opposite the iPad.
In this video I give my review of the Jaybird Gear JF3 Freedom bluetooth headphones. Comparing these to the Rocketfish bluetooth headphones I tried out last year is kind of like comparing the Playbook to the iPad, no contest. They are lightweight, stay in your ear and sound great. I only have two real complaints. One, the plastic used on the ear buds is very scratch prone even when kept inside the protective case. Two, the charging cable is only a foot long and it is a proprietary connector. This means that to charge your headphones they have to be less than a foot away from a plug. Overall this is the first set of wireless headphones that I will use full time in place of a wired headset.
In this video I go over the main reasons I believe that Apple's Smart Cover for the iPad 2 is a great accessory, but not a case. Read on after the break for all of my opinions.
